Antirrhinum × inexpectans, hybr. nov. (Plantaginaceae, Antirrhineae Chav.) is described herein coming from the spontaneous crossing, in culture conditions, between A. mollissimum (Pau) Rothm. and A. tortuosum Bosc ex Vent.: A. × inexpectans, hybr. nov. This hybrid has been found in the nurseries of the Centre for Forestry Research and Experimentation-CIEF of the Generalitat Valenciana (Quart de Poblet, Valencia, Spain). In this center, the culture of the two parent species for several years has allowed the spontaneous process of hybridization. A plant description and diagnosis, iconography and a table showing the main diagnostic characters to differentiate it from the two parental species is provided.
