The volume 50 of Acta Botanica Malacitana was finally published this December 2025, with the release of the editorial section including credits, cover, table of contents, and list of associate editors and reviewers. It contains a total of 8 articles and 17 notes.

We are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Acta Botanica Malacitana. A commemorative event will be held, and two lectures will be given on December 4th at 11:30 a.m. in the Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Málaga (UMA):

- “Acta Botanica Malacitana Today: Importance and Advances in Digital Publishing” by Marta Recio Criado

- “Acta Botanica Malacitana: 50 Reasons for a Tribute” by Baltasar Cabezudo Artero

There is also a poster exhibition in the corridor on the ground floor of the Biology building at the Faculty of Sciences, UMA.

More good news and another reason to celebrate the 50th anniversary: ​​Acta Botanica Malacitana has been awarded the FECYT quality seal.
