Focus and Scope
Acta Botanica Malacitana is an international journal of annual periodicity. Its purpose is the transmission of the results of original works related to any field of botany, especially those dedicated to systematics, chorology, ecology, applied botany, and Mediterranean area.
Peer Review Process
The Editorial Committee will evaluate, in the first instance, the topic, presentation and style of the manuscripts. Accepted manuscripts will be submitted to a scientific peer review.
Open Access Policy
This magazine provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research helps further global knowledge exchange.

The journal reserves the decision to reject articles with an inappropriate percentage of similarity.
We also have specific plagiarism detection tools such as Unicheck, a free access platform that monitors originality and controls plagiarism.

Acta Botanica Malacitana Journal uses DOI that is a persistent identifier, so it ensures that the link is to be preserved, and collaborates with DIALNET which maintains the project of the directory of journals in open access collaborated to identify principles of transparency and good practices of academic publications.
Author charges
Authors are not asked to pay Article Processing Charges (APCs) for this journal in any case.
