The aim of this study was: a) verify the effects of power specific training on jumping power in young soccer players b) to ascertain whether the association of work with loads and plyometrics are suitable for the power jump. For this purpose, recruited at 40 Spanish youth soccerplayers with a mean age (17.29 ± 0791) belonging to the categories autonomica and preferente. Two groups, one experimental group GEX (PF) associated special training designed to increase power levels usually done by the club. The program was designed with specific loads on an individual (after performing an assessment to identify with the best average power to the device ISOCONTROL 5.2) and exercises performed were full of strength, squat, loaded jump and continuous jumps of 40 -50cm; a second group was formed called GC (F) that only made his usual work soccer field. The variables evaluated were: Jump CMJa and loaded jump (SC) was established significance level of p <0.05. The end of the study results showed that the group GEX group improved statistically significantly in CMJa and SC, whereas in the GC group these changes were not significant in any of the variables. These results lead us to the conclusion that power specific training associated with the usual training in young soccer players, significantly improves power jump with and without load.
