Abstract

The present work aims to expose the first reported appointment to date of Bougainvillea spectabilis as an alien plant naturalized in the natural environment in the Iberian Peninsula, and for the first time in Europe. The purpose of the work is to report the existence of this species as existing in our area and include it in a catalog of non-native flora.
