Estimados/as usuarios/as de Acta Botanica Malacitana,

Lamentamos que durante el mes de agosto de 2025 los portales web todas las revistas científicas de UMA-Editorial han estado caídas. Ha habido un número importante de ataques informáticos y ha sido complicado solucionar el problema. Se ha tenido que cambiar de servidor.

Esta mañana, por fin, se ha podido abrir el acceso al nuevo servidor: https://revistas.uma.es (antes era https://www.revistas.uma.es).  El nuevo servidor de Acta Botanica Malacitana es: https://revistas.uma.es/index.php/abm (antes era https://www.revistas.uma.es/index.php/abm).

Como medida de seguridad complementaria, se ha incluido en OJS una aplicación para  que cuando un usuario ya creado entre en su cuenta, tenga que cambiar la contraseña en cuanto inicien sesión, y que dicha contraseña tenga cierto nivel de seguridad, al menos 12 caracteres. Solo será la primera vez que entre.

Sabemos que va a crear algún inconveniente, pero es lo que nos recomiendan los expertos en ciberseguridad.

Dear Acta Botanica Malacitana users, We regret that during the month of August 2025, the web portals of all UMA-Editorial scientific journals were down. There have been a significant number of cyberattacks, and it has been difficult to resolve the problem. The server had to be changed. This morning, access to the new server was finally available: https://revistas.uma.es (previously https://www.revistas.uma.es). The new Acta Botanica Malacitana server is: https://revistas.uma.es/index.php/abm (previously https://www.revistas.uma.es/index.php/abm). As an additional security measure, an application has been included in OJS so that when an existing user logs in to their account, they must change their password as soon as they log in, and that said password must have a certain level of security, at least 12 characters. It'll only be the first time they log in. We know it'll cause some inconvenience, but it's what cybersecurity experts recommend. Regards, Marta
