On the existence of Polypodium macaronesicum Bobrov in the South of the Iberian Peninsula

P. macaronesicum Bobrovis reported as new to the Flora of continental Europe. Its description, chorological distribution and ecology are discussed. A key to the European species of Polypodium is given.
