Study of the genus Batrachospermum Roth .: B. boryanum Sirod. and B. moniliforme Roth. in the province of Castellon, Spain

In the prospection of 175 springs of the Castello?n province, Batrachospermum has been collected in 13 stations. Only two species have been identified: B. moniliforme (Roth.) and B. boryanum (Sirod.),(a new record for Spain). The main physico-chemical parameters of water for each species are presented.
