Three new contributions to the vascular flora of Andalusia (Southern Spain)
Keywords:
vascular flora, chorology, habitat fragility, Andalusia, SpainAbstract
Three herborized taxa in Andalusia are discussed, of which Apteranthes munbyana and Scleranthus polycnemoides constitute chorological novelties for the south of the Iberian Peninsula, in the case of Drosera rotundifolia its presence in Andalusia is confirmed. 15 individuals of Apteranthes munbyana, approximately 140 individuals of Drosera rotundifolia and approximately 150 individuals of Scleranthus polycnemoides have been found. A. munbyana develops on ledges and hollows, in southwest-facing gorges, on limestone rocks, while D. rotundifolia does so on peat bogs and S. polycnemoides on lightly grazed montane grasslands. For the three taxa, CR (critically endangered) is proposed as the degree of threat.
