Abstract

Literature has played a crucial role in Palestinian cultural and national resistance, especially since the 1948 Nakbah. Authors such as Ghassan Kanafani, Mahmoud Darwish, and Adania Shibli have used their works to counter the Zionist narrative and give voice to the Palestinian historical experience of opression and dispossesion. This essay explores how literature has become an effective strategy for cultural survival and national resistance, analyzing the contributions of these authors and the evolution of Palestinian resistance literature in recent decades.
