Abstract

At present, it has been observed a profusion of the translations of the Coran made by converts. Globalization has given rise to an increasing interest for «the culture of the other» (Islam, in our case) and with it, the need to know its language and culture in depth. This implies the translation of its axial text, the core par excellence, of islamic culture: the Coran. In this work, we offer the interviews of two of the Muslim translators of the Coran into Spanish: Abdelghani Melara Navío and Raúl González Bórnez. We mainly deal with traductological aspects, difficulties and formation, with the object of obtaining a better comprehension of their versions
