Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • El envío no ha sido publicado previamente ni se ha sometido a consideración por ninguna otra revista (o se ha proporcionado una explicación al respecto en los Comentarios al editor/a).
  • El archivo de envío está en formato OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF o WordPerfect.
  • Siempre que sea posible, se proporcionan direcciones URL para las referencias.
  • El texto tiene interlineado sencillo; 12 puntos de tamaño de fuente; se utiliza cursiva en lugar de subrayado (excepto en las direcciones URL); y todas las ilustraciones, figuras y tablas se encuentran colocadas en los lugares del texto apropiados, en vez de al final.
  • El texto se adhiere a los requisitos estilísticos y bibliográficos resumidos en las Directrices del autor/a, que aparecen en Acerca de la revista.

Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Articles must be unpublished and not in the process of review or publication by any other means.

Format. Submissions must conform to the presented formats:

  • Template for documents in WORD.
  • Template for documents written in  LATEX.

Works that do not comply with the standards will be rejected upon receipt.

Language. The articles must be written either in Spanish or English. All the papers should include an abstract written in both Spanish and English (that is to say, the paper should include an Abstract and a Resumen). 

References. Bibliographic references must adhere to the APA style (7th edition).

Autorship. To guarantee an anonymous review, data from the authors must not appear in the article file. All personal and biographical data corresponding to the authors will be included in the metadata introduced during the article submission process and will be collected from there by the editors once the article has been accepted.

Copyright. Authors will retain the intellectual property of the works and will accept publication in the Rect@ journal under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), meaning copying and distribution of the work is allowed, provided the source is cited and it is for non-commercial purposes.

 

EVALUATION PROCESS

All the submitted works are reviewed by a double-blind system. Previously, a first review of the manuscripts will be carried out by the editors to check whether the works meet the requirements indicated in the author guidelines.

The User guarantees that the personal data provided is true and is responsible for communicating any changes in them. The User will be solely responsible for any damage or harm, direct or indirect, that could be caused to UMA Editorial or to any third party, due to filling in the forms with false, inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date data. In the event that the User includes personal data of third parties, he must, prior to its inclusion, inform them of the provisions of this privacy policy, being solely responsible for its inclusion.
