About the Journal

Rect@ are the initial letters from Revista Electrónica de Comunicaciones y Trabajos de ASEPUMA. This journal is a initiative developed by the asociation ASEPUMA (Asociación de Profesores Universitarios de Matemáticas aplicadas a la Economía y la Empresa) in order to disseminate the scientific works  in the topics related to the quantitative methods applied to the economics and business administration field.

 

This journal includes two types of numbers: Ordinary numbers (with an ISSN code), Monographic numbers (with an ISBN code).

 

The ordinary numbers are annual numbers devoted to original and unpublished works with a mathematical content, including either theoretical or applied results with a quantitative focus. This includes papers on topics related with mathematics, statistics, or informatics in the field of economics and business. The Rect@ Journal publishes two ordinary numbers each year.

The Journal is registered with the ISSN number 1575-605X. The electronic format has free access to all the published papers. This Journal does not charge any type of fees or APCs for submission or publication.

 

Both the editorial board and the readers from Rect@ have a right to expect that all the submitted papers are from the own authors, not committing any kind of plagiarism (taking from other authors without the corresponding permission and reference). We ask the authors to declare that the work is written by themselves and that they own the copyright and the related rights which protect the intellectual works.

 

Rect@ uses DOI, which is a persistent identifier, thus ensuring that the link will be preserved, and DOAJ, which is a community initiative of peers, who maintain the open access journal directory project collaborated to identify transparency and good practices of academic publications. It is also hosted on Dialnet.
