Rosa María Giusto

Rosa Maria Giusto, researcher at CNR-IRISS since 2018, started with the theme of Governance and
Governance and Management of Cultural Heritage in the CLIC Horizon 2020 programme while she is currently working on the
PON project; IDEHA - Innovations for data processing in the field of Cultural Heritage.

Architect, PhD in History and Criticism of Architecture at the University of Naples Federico II, she won the National Competition for Young Researchers CNR with the research project; The contamination of languages: late gothic, baroque, art nouveau in Mediterranean architecture; of which she was scientific director, coordinator and member of the research group. Adjunct professor at several Italian universities, she has obtained the National Scientific Qualification as a second level university lecturer in the field of Restoration and History of Architecture. She is dedicated to the re-use of built heritage and to the recovery and valorisation of historical centres and cultural sites for the development of tourism, with particular reference to Mediterranean areas. Her research focuses on the history of architecture and the enhancement of tangible and intangible cultural heritage through innovative forms of enjoyment and dissemination of knowledge.

Author of monographic volumes, she is a speaker at several national and international conferences and publishes essays in collective volumes and scientific journals.
