EXTERNAL EVALUATION BY PAIRS AND ANONYMOUS

Once the Journal's Editorial Board has verified that the article complies with the rules regarding style and content indicated in the guidelines for authors, it will send the article to two anonymous peer-reviewed experts outside the Editorial Board, in design research field, and according to the double blind model.

The evaluation will define the interest of the article, its contribution to the knowledge of the topic covered, the news provided, the correct relationships established, the critical judgment developed, the bibliographic references used, its correct writing, etc., indicating recommendations, if any, for possible improvement.

Based on the recommendations of the reviewers, the editor of the journal will communicate the motivated result of the evaluation to the authors through OJS, notification that will also be sent to them by email, at the address they used during their registration as authors. The editor will communicate the result of the review to the main author (Acceptance without changes; publication with minor corrections; publication with major corrections; rejection), as well as the comments and comments of the reviewers.

If the manuscript is accepted with modifications, the authors should forward a new version of the article, attending to the demands and suggestions of the external evaluators, and according to the times indicated by the editor. The author is recommended to send a letter to the editor and reviewers in which they indicate the modified content.
