These pages are a critical review of E. Hornung’s book, Esoterismo egipcio. La sabiduría secreta del antiguo Egipto y su impacto en Occidente (Egyptian Esotericism. The Secret Wisdom of Ancient Egypt and its Impact on the West) recently published in Spanish. The original work was published in German in 1999 (Das esoterische Ägypten: das geheime Wissen der Ägypter und sein Einfluss auf das Abendland).
