The article focuses on a subcategory of love spells called cup spells because their titles πόσιμον, ποτήριον, πότισμα are linked to the act of drinking, πιεῖν in ancient Greek. The study examines the similarities and differences between them in order to define their modus operandi and make some observations on it.
