Animal Symbolism, Astrology and Sexuality in the Ancient Texts

When the ancient astrologers placed an animal under the rulership of a particular planet, they did so keeping in mind the symbolic traits attributed to the animal at that time. In our paper we have chosen eight animals with rich sexual symbolism in order to explain their sexual behaviour due to the influence of the planets as they were characterized by ancient astrology.
