Abstract

This article describes the initiative developed with women linked to the resource of school of families of the Centro de Jóvenes Taleia-Fundación Adsis in order to train them, through a formative process, to develop the function of facilitators in their group of equals, so that it is transformed in the medium and / or long term into a mutual aid group.
With the use of techniques such as the interview, the survey and the review of written documents, it has been possible to analyse the feasibility of implementing, in a permanent and broader manner, this pilot project; obtaining from it, a first experience in the promotion of the growth and personal empowerment of the women who participate in the center.
The initiative began to develop at the end of the 2017-2018 academic year, at which time nine training sessions were designed and developed, divided into two phases. It is in the course 2018–19 when the third phase of the project is being developed aimed at personal and group accompaniment, to the facilitators of the group of equals.
