Abstract

We ask ourselves about the possibilities of art in relation to the social at present. It's something we've been talking about before, during and after our visit to Documenta14. That "after" so important, which serves to put our thoughts in order and enlist us in the arduous task of giving them meaning and coherence.

I do not know how it was in your case but my stay in the documenta14 "Learning from Athens" was full of optimism, despite the negativity of the a priori criticism about the exposure that came from the different artistic media and especially from that space of light opinions such as Facebook, where people try to throw lightfast and running events as documented, where a visit of two or three days seems at least scarce. I remember that I commented to you and I noticed a certain disaffection with respect to art in your response, maybe the same one that I am feeling at this moment, although it may be the one that we will feel the rest of our lives of not making sense of all this artistic whirlpool where It gives the feeling that there is something that does not quite fit.
