Abstract

This paper presents the most outstanding details of Marca País Argentina (Argentina Country Brand), a product of the selection process announced to provide this nation with a system of visual identity that graphically synthesises its main features. The aspects it promotes range from the feasibility of real-estate investments to the quality of the workforce, adventure tourism or technological infrastructure. It must also operate with the same level of efficacy both locally and abroad, while promoting integration and unity in diversity. Moreover, it responds to both rational and emotional factors, trying to balance the aspirational and the existent.
