Abstract

“The Golden Century of Spanish Couture” includes many famous designers, but “El Maestro” Cristóbal Balenciaga is the most important one in the XX century. Besides him, we find also de great heritage of Pedro Rodríguez, Elio Berhanyer and Manuel Pertegaz, inter alia. What really strikes is their ability to spread Spanish cultural identity through their own works, that borrow signs of our culture and rely on the influence of other artists.
