Abstract

We, unconsciously and consciously, make use of our sense of smell, and if we were to ask ourselves where we smell from, surely our most immediate answer would be that we smell with our noses. But as Gordon Shepherd, a neuroscience professor at Yale University says, “we think we smell with our noses, but this is a bit like saying we hear with our ears.”
