Abstract

Our main contribution focused on a debate already have arisen in Artificial Intelligence around the cognitive processes in determining relevance facing decision-making, but questioning now the role of emotions to resolved it.  This question accounts for an important cognitive phenomenon, the frame problem which questions how humans, most of the time, determine relevance efficiently. The aim of this paper is to examine the limits and scope of the epistemic function of salience/relevance of emotions to resolve, particularly, the two main difficulties of the efficient aspect of the frame problem.
