La crítica moral y religiosa en la obra de Cyrano de Bergerac

RESUMEN
El presente artículo examina el pensamiento de Savinien de Cyrano de Bergerac (1619 - 1655) tal y como se expresa en dos de sus obras fundamentales: L´autre Monde ou les états et empires de la lune (publicada en 1657, dos años después de su muerte) e Histoire comique des états et empires du Soleil (1662). En ellas expresa de forma mordaz y extremadamente crítica sus posiciones cosmológicas y filosóficas. Este componente polémico se extiende en Cyrano ya no sólo hacia una cosmología tradicionalmente aliada con el Cristianismo, sino al antropocentrismo cristiano y a importantísimos dogmas teológicos, como la cristología, la providencia o la inmortalidad del alma.

ABSTRACT
This paper examines Savinien de Cyrano de Bergerac (1619 - 1655) as they are expresed in his major Works: L´autre Monde ou les états et empires de la lune (published in 1657, two years after his death) and Histoire comique des états et empires du Soleil (1662). In these books he expreses his ideas about cosmology and philosophy with extreme criticism. This polemics but to Christian antropocentrism and to very important theological dogma such as christology, providentialism or the soul´s inmortality.
