RESUMEN
La Interculturalidad ha dejado obsoletos los planteamientos del Multiculturalismo. No es suficiente solamente el respeto y la tolerancia para con las otras culturas; hay que promover, además el diálogo intercultural en un plano de igualdad y de libertad. Ahora bien, el diálogo intercultural conduce al relativismo si no está orientado por los valores fundamentales compartidos, que serán los pilares de la nueva ética transcultural.

ABSTRACT
Interculturality has overcomed multiculturalism. Respect and tolerance towards other culture is not enough - we need to foster an intercultural dialogue in terms of equality and liberty. However, this intercultural dialogue would lead to relativism unless otherwise oriented by shared fundamental values, which will be the pillars of the new intercultural ethics.
