ABTRACT
The new functional neuroimaging techniques hace suceeded in obtaining images of the brain when performing mental tasks. The images thus obtained, considered images of the mind, hace reinforced the belief that we will soon be able to infer the content of our mental states starting from the neurophysiological knoledge of the brain areas involved. This paper attempts to tackle this matter and contributes to clarify, from the epistemological field, some of the inferences attained by neuroscientists.
