Abstract

The current predicament of the art & life relationship leads us to John Dewey’s Aesthetics, specially his work Art as  Experience, aiming to restore the continuity between Art and the events and sufferings of life. This text tries to show some main aspects in order to restore that continuity, paying much attention to the notion of rhythm, which gives us the keys to rejuvenate deweyan Aesthetics
