About the Journal

Baetica is published by the Department of Modern and Contemporary History of the University of Malaga. It is a scientific publication, with annual periodicity, in paper and digital format, continuation of the Baetica magazine. Studies in Art, Geography and History that was published between 1978 and 2015, now focused on research on modern and contemporary history as indicated by its new subtitle. The journal´s objectives are the dissemination and debate on the history of these periods, and it is aimed at both specialists and the general public. We begin a new stage with a renewed Editorial Board and an Editorial Committee with specialists of recognized international prestige.

La revista Baetica. Estudios de Historia Moderna y Contemporánea abre el plazo de recepción de artículos y propuestas de dossier para su próximo número. Los trabajos deberán ser originales e inéditos y ajustarse a las normas editoriales de la revista. El envío de originales se realizará exclusivamente a través de la plataforma OJS de la revista.
