An example of a dependent region. The Almanzora Valley (Province of Almería)

The Almazora Valley is an example of a marginal region in the circles of market economy, that only interests the agents of that economy on those occasions in which small investments with high profits can be realized.
This situation began in the fourth decade of the 19th century and continues to be maintained today, proof of this being the exagerated fluctuation of the population since 1838 and the disorganization of regional land.
