Data about the residential segregation of indigenous inhabitants of Lima (Peru)

The aim of this paper is measure the level of residential segregation suffered by both the indigenous inhabitants of Gran Lima-Callao and their socioproductive elite. The statistical source that we have employed has been the IX Censo de Población y IV de Viviendas (1993) in REDATAM format. In order to identify the indigenous population, we have used the item related with “maternal language”, and the indexes we have selected are the Dissimilarity Index, Isolation Index and Interaction Index.Downloads
