Abstract

This article presents the results of the systematization of a family reunification experience, in the context of the basic Social Services of a rural municipality in inland Andalusia. This case highlights not only the peculiarity and complexity of reunification processes, but also the added difficulties that can arise when it is the woman, as parent and partner, who is unable, unlike the rest of the members of her family unit, to consolidate and give meaning to the migratory project. The systematization of this experience has been carried out from the point of view of Social Work, and seeks to share and exchange the results and learning that have been generated from the daily and particular aspects of this experience, the reflections in terms of decoloniality and interculturality being especially significant.
