Intervención ante divorcios altamente conflictivos: revisión sistemática y claves para los servicios sociales

Abstract

This article presents a systematic review of scientific literature on intervention programs for families undergoing high-conflict divorce, aiming to identify common patterns to inform Social Services practice. Using a comparative analysis, 38 empirically based studies are examined and categorized by their effectiveness according to methodological rigor and outcomes. The most effective programs share key features: progressive group-based structure, experiential techniques, solid theoretical foundation, rigorous impact evaluation, and primarily voluntary participation. Structured child involvement also emerges as an added value. Effectiveness results from the synergistic combination of these elements, which address the emotional and relational dynamics underpinning the conflict. Based on these findings, the article proposes a practical and context-sensitive reference framework for designing interventions within Social Services, focused on safeguarding child well-being and strengthening coparenting.
