Hermeneutical analysis of «A los poetas chilenos de Madre España», the epilogue with which María Zambrano closed Madre España, the important Chilean anthology of homage and support for the Spanish republican cause, published at the beginning of 1937 by the Panorama publishing house. In said epilogue, the concept of «razón poética» appears for the first time in the Zambranian corpus, which will be followed by a second appearance of the same concept in Zambrano's review of Antonio Machado's latest book, «La guerra de Antonio Machado», published in December 1937 in the Hora de España. The relationship between both texts highlights the centrality of Machado among the influences of the young Zambrano.
