Abstract

These pages deal with the different reasons that led the Peruvian writer Zoila Aurora Cáceres Moreno (Lima, 1877-Madrid, 1958) to travel to Spain on numerous occasions. Moreover, this article attempts to approach her journalistic work in the Spanish newspaper El Liberal of Barcelona, under the pseudonym Evangelina, and the relationships, both personal and professional, that she had with some Spanish intellectuals of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
