A tour of the architecture of the Philippine archipelago during its time of belonging to the Hispanic monarchy. To this end, we will revisit the unpublished doctoral thesis Architecture and Urbanism of Spanish Origin in the Western Pacific, which the author of the article defended at the School of Architecture of Madrid in 2004. The article makes a typological journey, highlighting the preserved examples of the different functional types: military, religious, civil. As well as a geographical one, through the different regions with outstanding architecture from Spanish Period. To conclude with a basic bibliography of the topic.
