Abstract

This paper explores the emergence of a cultural brand in Ponce, a Puerto Rican city, as the arrival and integration of immigrants from Cataluña during the 19th century had a profound effect on the city’s urban profile and intermarriage with Creoles generated new identities and joint memories.
