Abstract

What follows is a brief reflection on a cross-cutting notion of gender that allows us to reposition ourselves in the sphere of the social and, on the other hand, we risk some ideas about the political ecology that places us within great issues, among which language stands out. To some extent they are ideas launched into the air and that fully integrate systemically are links of a problem that concerns large domains of studies such as Social Anthropology that is from where we look. In particular, we propose to address what we mean by gender studies (which are, fundamentally, studies of, for and to women) and political ecology as concrete ways of addressing not only today’s world and its historical construction, but even as vectors that authorize the possibility of seeing crises, destruction and their forms of explanation.
