Abstract

For Hegel, truth and freedom are very central concepts for building his philosophical system and are present in two of the most important Hegelian works, namely, the Phenomenology of the spirit and the Science of the Logic. In this thematic point, there arise vital questions as the passage from an ontology of the substance to an ontology of the subject, the meaning of “second nature” or the Kantian problem of a free causality. This work aims to present these questions, considering them the center of a reformulation, in the Hegelian perspective, of the concept and the task of philosophy.
