The book addresses the philosophy of religion of the young Hegel. Through exegetical commentaries on some of his early writings, Andrés Ortigosa analyzes the religion of subjectivity, moral religion, the positivity of religion, and freedom. Furthermore, the work provides relevant information about the sources, the background to the topic, and previous interpretations. In this sense, the text proposes a renewed perspective, since the author considers that Hegel's early writings are neither purely theological nor purely political, but rather should be understood from a religious perspective.
