Abstract

Academic practices are of special importance in all university degrees. This article focuses on the practices of the Degree in Criminology. Initially, a regulatory review is carried out in relation to problems that arise in the management of the practices process by the people involved: teachers, professionals and students. Subsequently, the peculiarities of the practicum of the Degree in Criminology are analyzed and experiences carried out in other countries that are of interest for the design of practices that meet the teaching objectives and that are adapted to the new times are provided. Finally, the situation of the practicum in Spain is analyzed and improvements are proposed based on the research that has been carried out, among them that in Criminology degrees there are three types of practicum: face-to-face, virtual and research.
