Algunos Tipos de Preferencias no Transitivas

Abstract

In the theory of preferences it is generally assumed that the indifference relation is transitive, this paper provides an overview about nontransitive preference relations. We lead our work to two class of these relations: the acyclic and the asymmetric ones, paying special attention to the possibility of obtain numerical representations which characterizes the maximal elements of the binary relation in terms of the maxima of this function.
