Origins of man. The singularity of human being by Francisco Rodríguez Valls addresses the difficult issue of anthropology with a very serious use of the available scientific and philosophical resources, and with originality. The current interpretative keys —evolutionism and freedom— treats them with weighting: he accepts them, but with interpretative nuances that move away from the reductionism that is prevalent today.
