Abstract

The condition of being a person, although residing in the personal act of being, is eminently manifested through the exercise of freedom. The analysis of freedom begins in the sphere of external doing, passes through wanting and choosing, and ends in the dominion of being: it is a capacity to self-create, to be that which is meant to be. The supreme manifestation of human freedom is, for each person, the free and loving acceptance of the self and of all that surrounds it.
