This work is an attempt to identify those gnostic elements present in the current alternative religious movements. Our intent is to demonstrate how the vision of man’s own Christian Gnosticism is present in the unorthodox expressions in which these alternative religious movements have developed. The current religious trend shows a remarkable proliferation of movements that are present in populous piety, otherwise known as religious-consumerism. In the subjectivism, individualism and in the imminent never disappearing Gnosticism.
