Isaac Argyros’ Paraphrase on the Anonymous Commentary on Ptolemy’s Tetrabiblos: Some New Contributions on Book I

A critical edition and Spanish translation of some relevant passages from
Book I of Isaac Argyrus’ Byzantine paraphrase to the Anonymous Commentary on
Ptolemy’s Tetrabiblos is first presented in this paper, as well as a translation from
Argyrus’ paraphrase into Latin made in 16th century by an unknown humanist.
