The aim of this paper is to analyse the close relationship between Nietzsche and hermeneutics. Through the concepts of consummate nihilism and perspectivism, Nietzsche redefines metaphysics as hermeneutics based on the interpretation of metaphors and the negation of absolute truths. A distinction is made between two hermeneutical approaches: open hermeneutics, which promotes freedom and creativity in interpretation, and finalism, which is more conservative and oriented towards shared truths, but useful for social evolution. The text concludes that both positions, although divergent, are essential for cultural transformation, combining critical innovation and structural pragmatism in a necessary balance for human progress.
