About the Journal

Escritos de Psicología - Psychological Writings is a journal published by the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy at the University of Málaga, aimed at disseminating scientific advances in all areas of psychology and to contribute to the continuous updating and training of psychology professionals. The content of the journal is primarily directed at specialists, researchers, and postgraduate students in the field of psychology. The journal was established in 1997, publishing its first issue in print that same year. In this new phase, starting from 2008, the journal is proposed as a general open-access electronic publication that publishes two issues annually (June and December), including articles in both Spanish and English, following an external and anonymous review process. Escritos de Psicología - Psychological Writings is a Diamond Open Access journal that does not charge for publication or access to its articles.
