Abstract

A transgenic organism is one that has received one or more genes artificially. In the case of plants, the incorporation of the gene (transgene) into the genome occurs independently of pollination and, in most cases, its acquisition is carried out through a protocol that involves the use of different species of Agrobacterium, a bacterium that produces the development of tumors in plants thanks to the transfer of several genes to its genome
