Abstract

Immunosuppressive therapies used to prevent the rejection of a transplanted organ have a wide range of possibilities, among which stand out: therapies with glucocorticoids, with polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies, therapies with inhibitors of purine synthesis, as well as immunophilin binding agents. The importance of interleukin-2 (IL2), as a target in these types of therapeutic approaches, takes on enormous interest because this protein is a fundamental part of the immune response
